About me
I've been gardening on and off since I was a kid, so I've got years of amateur experience. I try to live as organically as possible, and have a strong belief in preserving heirloom varieties, growing open-pollinated seeds, and utilizing companion gardening techniques, meaning better variety and security for our food system.
I have my own vehicle, and am willing to travel a short distance (Sorry, Shoreline and Kent.)

We have a very sunny approximately 10 x 20 ft patch in our front yard that we have used to grow veggies the last two years. It has full southern and eastern exposure and is raised up above the street by 7 or 8 ft. Perfect for squash, tomatoes, corn, beans, cucumber, etc. In the back we have four raised beds also with good southern exposure. We like those for greens, peas, herbs, onions, etc. Both areas have water lines that attach to an automatic timer. The land has been managed organically at least since 1998 when we bought the house.

Patch is about 10 x 20 feet and gets full sun for most of the day from late mid spring to mid fall. So a fairly long growing season. Currently, patch is grass and dandelions. I'm happy to eat whatever you choose to grow. Don't feel obligated to cultivate the entire patch.

New Skillyville Farm
Description
Recently cleared of nearly an acre of blackberries, New Skillyville is home to ducks, chickens, dogs and an indoor cat and rabbit. Owner's own garden is enclosed in chicken proof fence incorporating the duck pond/house, but large areas are available for cultivating. There is no over-all plan for these large areas other than the back area will eventually be fruit trees. In the mean time, I'd love to provide garden space to locavores who don't have their own space.

Backyard with privacy and sun. Prefer people who live in my area of West Seattle....Admiral end. This space will need to be built on the grass that is currently there.. you will build....I will provide water for small amount ( maybe $10 per month?...never done this so it probably will be even less than that) and a few morsels of your bounty. Pictures to interested people only.

Hello Interweb,
We are a co-op house of students, worker bees and gardeners. We have a great garden complete with a geodesic dome greenhouse, a composting tumbler, a worm bin, a biogas digester (makes cooking gas and liquid fertilizer) and a large chicken coop. We have recently decided to expand the garden by adding a few new beds and decided that we have space to spare one for YOU if you need it.

We have a lovely large backyard with mature trees, a raised flower bed, a cherry tree and an apple tree. The people before us were retired and loved roses. I've gotten rid of the roses, but am feeling flustered with converting areas (the flower bed namely) to food gardens. I've used pots to grow tomatoes, strawberries, peppers and herbs for the last couple summers. As well, I've amended some bad soil spots to grow long beans...that worked out well. Now I would love to offer up my space to someone who can help me move to the next level of gardening.

Would love to grow a garden in my backyard. The 8000 sq ft yard is gently sloping to the west side of the home, it currently has 3 apple trees, 1 cherry tree, grapes, small plum tree, some raspberries, blue berries and starting an herb garden. I have limited knowledge and a much neglected yard that we just purchased, Would love someone to plan and maintain a garden with mainly edibles. 50/50 split. Thank you!

Description
We have a full sun front yard that is currently grass, you could build raised beds or till in the grass and plant in the ground. We have high clay soil that will need added compost but seems to do well for gardening in. We would like to add rain barrels to reduce the water bill. Your space will be separate from ours - this space is roughly 20'x15' and there is an additional space that is partial shade if more space was wanted.
There is also a possibility of a joint chicken/egg co-op if you would like to add a chicken or two to our existing flock and help buy food.
