What is We Patch?
We Patch is an urban gardening project that brings together people looking for gardening space with those who have space to offer. Through the We Patch board, users can find a match in their area and start planting!
How much does it cost to use We Patch?
Nothing! We Patch is completely free for all to use. Sign up through our easy registration process and you’ll be ready to start posting.
How is We Patch funded?
We Patch relies on private donations from users and other supporters to fund its day-to-day operations, including site design and maintenance, promotion, and community programs. You can help us create gardens across the country by clicking the Donate button to the right; your donations are very much appreciated!
What if I can’t find listings in my area?
Don’t be shy, create your own listing! By posting on We Patch, you make your own search visible and inspire others in your community to take part.
What if my listing doesn’t get any responses?
The more people use We Patch, the more everyone benefits from it. You can help us generate interest in your community by spreading word about We Patch far and wide. As you tell your friends and they tell their friends, even more new members and listings will appear, and your local We Patch community will thrive. Tell your neighbor, tell your barber, tell your cousin’s dog. You never know who will be keen to plant zucchinis in your back yard…that is, until you ask!
To facilitate sharing the We Patch gospel, we’ve made some downloadable flyers that you can print and post around your neighborhood. Send us a photo of you putting up our flyers, and we’ll show our appreciation by sending you a We Patch sticker and a packet of organic seeds (of your choice) for your new garden!
